You'll usually have tiny bumps for a few minutes after any top-up, and a small bruise is possible for a day or two. Most people carry on with their day straight after.
It feels the same as your original session — tiny pinpricks that most people find very manageable, with ice available if you want it.
Just one session is needed, and you can repeat it every 3 to 4 months to keep the result. If you have a wedding or big event coming up, book at least 2 weeks beforehand so the result is fully settled.
Any top-up given at this review settles in over the same 4 to 14 days as your original treatment. Your overall result then lasts around 3 to 4 months from the first session, depending on your metabolism and the area treated.
You might get a little redness, swelling or a small bruise where any extra product is placed, and a mild headache is possible. These settle on their own within a few days.
